The USB-C to HDMI Adapter connects phones or laptops with an external monitor through an HDMI connection. We designed the adapter to be foldable; Optimized for a mobile and flexible work environment. You can unfold the adapter by grabbing the head of the plug and unwrapping the cable which is protecting the adapter’s port from dust and dirt. A guideway around the adapter holds the cable tight while wide radii prevent a cable break. The soft, curved, satin-like surface provides a comfortable feel holding it in your hand. It fits perfectly into the smallest pocket and a subtle LED light provides continuous light when the adapter is plugged in.

Process

The initial idea behind this adapter was to build a super compact USB-C adapter for flexibel work environments. We decided to develop an adapter with a built in cable than fits into the smallest pocket without the cable dangling around and possible scratching valuable surfaces of notebooks or mobile devices like aluminum bodies or glass.
