Safety and Convenience For All Drivers.
The ZUS Wireless Smart Backup Camera is built to provide access to a rearview camera to all drivers, regardless of a vehicle’s make or model. Its sophisticated design has smooth surfaces, sleek curvatures and a matte finish. As part of the ZUS Connected Car System, the camera is built with a 170 degree wide angle lens, providing a much wider view than traditional manufacturer installed cameras. The camera can be self-installed in under 10 minutes and requires no wiring or drilling. Additionally, no head unit is required as all data and visuals run through the ZUS App.
Torx Screw
Two Torx Screws protect the camera from stealing while allowing easy access. The camera needs to be detached every 6 months for charging.
Infra Red Light
The Backup Camera is equipped with two IR-LEDs for an enhanced night vision. The LEDs illuminate the road in an invisible frequency range.
Status LED
The LED is indicating weather the camera is on, transmitting or loading.

Process
The process included a big part of research and development. Not every country has the same license plate size and not every part of the license plate can legally be covered with some product. Different cars have different license plate mounting situations and we wanted to cover as many cars, states and countries as possible. We tested a couple of form factors and charging situation and made decisions about how to handel the divice from the fist installation to the daily to monthly routine.
